This par 72, semi-private Country Club is located just off Historic Route 66, a short 17 miles east of Kingman.

The championship golf course measures 6266 yards and offers a Driving Range and Putting Green, Clubhouse complete with Pro Shop, Snack Bar and a members Bar & Lounge.

Offering the scenic features of a resort, with fair ways maintained greens, tough, tight fair ways and sculptured tees. The Pro Shop carries a full line of professional equipment and apparel from Calloway Clubs to Pal Joey and Spalding accessories. Enjoy an icy beverage or a Trevino burger in the Sand Trap Restaurant after your day of golfing.

Opened on July 31, 1907 to supply more centralized & consistent electric power to operate hoists & pumps located in the area mines. In 1938, the Hover Dam took over the workload, & by 1940 the Powerhouse ceasing electric production, became a substation & equipment storage facility. In 1995, a partnership was formed, rehabilitation the Powerhouse to it's present state, including: The Tourist Information Center, The Carlos Elmer (Arizona Highways Photographer) Gallery, Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona Gift Shop, Memory Lane Diner, Model Railroad Store, Old West Store, Historic Route 66 Museum, Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce Office, & a large meeting room for community functions.

A unique museum of history, housed within the Powerhouse Visitors Center, is located in the “heart” of the longest remaining stretch of the 2400 miles that was Route 66.

Founded in 1961, the purposes of the Mohave Museum of History & Arts is to preserve the heritage of Northwestern Arizona.
- Locomotive Park

Located across from the Powerhouse Visitor Center

Pride of the park is famed Steam Locomotive, #3759.
- Fort Beale Springs
Hours: 8-5 (Permit, though Free, is required*)

Location: From downtown Kingman, drive westbound on Beale St. to Fort Beale Dr. Turn right. Go approx. 1.5 miles & turn left into parking lot.

Native Americans used, what is now known as Beale Springs, for centuries before Lt. Edward Beale traveled through & established a wagon road along the 35th parallel in the 1850's.

Takes pride in her training of 36,000 gunners during WWII.
- Lewis Kingman Park
Located on Historic Route 66.

Enjoy picnic tables & shelters with grills. This park has a wonderful Dog Park.
- Camp Beale Loop Trail
Location: West side of Fort Beale Drive.

Access to the trail head is a dirt road that parallels the “Black Mesa Coal Slurry Line.” A 3.2 mile, non-motorized, loop, dedicated to Hiking, Bicycling, & Equestrians. Grades average 5%, with some sections reaching 12%.

Views from the top of the mesa overlook various sections of the community.
- Centennial Park
Kingman's largest park. Its amenities include a public pool, ball fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts & volleyball courts. It's a wonderful family park.
- White Cliffs Wagon Trail Park
Location: Follow Grandview turn right onto Lead St., turn left on White Cliffs Rd.

Along the wagon road that was once used to bring ore from the Stockton Hill Mines to the railroad, explore a piece of 1800's mining history. Deeply cut into the road are the wagon tracks, where together with stubbing posts & ropes, the heavy wagons carrying ore, traveled up & down the grade.

Hours: 5am-9pm daily

Directions: From the Powerhouse Visitor Center in Kingman, head east on Andy Devine Avenue (Historic Route 66), turn right onto Hualapai Mountain Road and follow it for 14 picturesque miles to Hualapai Mountain Park.

Enjoy hiking, picnicking, camping, wildlife viewing, biking, all nestled in the forest sporting spectacular views.

Mule deer, elk, mountain lions, foxes and a wide variety of birds call the higher elevations their home.

Hiking trails wind up Aspen Peak and over to Hayden Peak.
